Historical Account #16: Striped Marsupial Cats reported in Tully.

Marsupial Tiger Report -Northern Miner – 10 Aug 1935

Again, the description of a distinctly different animal (striped) to the more commonly encountered extant quolls in the area. Also, another indication of the aggression which had been mentioned in other sightings, particularly in interactions with dogs. Reference to the aboriginal name of what I believe is “Yaddi” (text in the article is unfortunately not very clear), similar to the commonly used name “Yarri”.
