Witness who reported the sighting claimed they were pig hunting in the area of Alligator Creek with 15 other people. Witness admits that several individuals were drinking, though the witness who had the sighting claimed they were not. Sighting occurred at night time and conditions were described as foggy.
Witness states that a few of the people noticed a tall dark figure standing and observing them from about 30 metres away. Witnesses alerted other individuals of the party who all looked in the direction. Pig dogs present with the group also took off towards the animal. The unknown creature then ran off at a very fast pace over an adjacent hill, and the dogs were said to have returned to the group very soon after.
