Researchers have unearthed new fossils of what they believe is a new Genus of Australian Marsupial Lion in the Riversleigh World Heritage area. Named Lekaneleo roskellyae, this specimen was the size of a domestic cat with the similiar impressive teeth as its larger cousin, Thylacoleo carnifex, capable of slicing straight through bones.
